I created a new google business account, so hopefully I will be able to monetize my website. I am testing with this website first, so I can monetize my other site. If you are seeing ads, it is working!
I had to figure out something called google AdSense. It’s a bit complex but it allows you to publish ads on your site without too much hassle. I’m going to use it to start, then I will see how I might be able to add other sources later on. I had to create a business account through google, link my domain, prove ownership, and request review so my website is monetizable. I will do this again with my other website, of course.
I then added something called Google Site Kit, and can now view analytics for my site from my dashboard. I am not surprised at the lack of visitors.
